Your child knows the Maths. The problem is the paper.

Primary 2 has no formal tests. Then Primary 3 begins, and suddenly there is a paper, a time limit, and a set of conditions your child has never been asked to meet before. Not because they do not know the subject. Because they have never sat alone with a question they have to answer by themselves.

That moment of uncertainty, the unfamiliar silence and the structure they have not practised, is where marks are lost.

A Scholar gives your child the one thing most supplementary programmes skip: the experience of doing it for real. One printed paper, every month, at home, under the same conditions as school. Your child sits it alone. You mark it together.

No pressure. No rankings. Just a child who knows they can do this because they have done it before.

The programme

Simple by design.

Step 1

It arrives

Each month, a practice paper arrives in your letterbox: printed, sealed, ready. Your child's name on the envelope. A real paper, not a screen.

Step 2

Your child sits it

Set aside 30 to 45 minutes. No devices. No distractions. Just your child, a pen, and a paper built to condition exam readiness.

Step 3

You mark it together

Scan the QR code or visit ascholar.academy/redeem and enter the paper code. Mark each answer, then see the worked solution and explanation.

After marking

Readiness Index. Performance Band. What to focus on next. Everything updates in one place, without rankings or pressure.

Every month

One complete readiness package.

Each monthly dispatch includes a full practice paper built to P3 Mathematics standards, complete worked solutions and explanations for every question, and access to the digital marking interface showing your child's Readiness Index, Performance Band, and progress over time.

Delivered by registered post. Arrives in 2-4 working days.

The philosophy

The paper is the point.

There is something that happens when a child sits down with a real paper and a pen. The phone is away. The screen is off. The work is in front of them.

That friction is not a bug. It is the product.

A Scholar is not an app. It is not adaptive software. It is a deliberate, calm, monthly ritual: the kind that builds the habit of focused work, one Practice at a time.

Readiness you can feel, measured with quiet precision.

A few things parents ask.

Is this aligned to the MOE syllabus?

Yes. Every Practice is built around the P3 Mathematics syllabus, covering the topics, skills, and question types your child will meet in school assessments.

What if my child misses a month?

The papers are yours to keep. The marking interface remains open for the programme review window, so families can work through papers at a realistic pace.

What if the paper is lost in the post?

Papers are sent by registered post with tracking. If a paper is lost, A Scholar will arrange a resend.

Is my child's data safe?

We collect only what is needed to provide the service and progress view. Full details are set out in the Privacy Policy and Parent Consent Form.

Can I cancel?

Cancellation and refund handling depends on the programme and dispatch status. The full policy is set out in the Terms.

Parent-built

Built by a P3 parent, for P3 parents.

A Scholar started from a simple parent problem: how do you know whether your child is ready for the paper itself, not just the topic list? The answer became a monthly ritual that families can actually hold, mark, and understand together.
